Hacking Growth

Growth Hacking is the practice of gathering and analyzing data then, through trial and error, using the data to guide your growth strategies. If you have a service company it is important to keep that definition in mind because the book, Hacking Growth, is written by Silicon Valley types for SAAS and product companies. Those of us who sell services will need our thinking caps but there are still wins to be had. At Sec, we hacked a way to reduce transaction costs in our debt servicing division. As a by product, the hack also should be a future boon to our branding efforts. The practice of hacking also adds creativity into a workweek that could otherwise be mundane for some of the roles in our company. Thus, Growth Hacking, if introduced beyond the tech and marketing teams, can improve morale and reduce attrition. So, if I had to put a title on this review it would be “Growth Hacking All Positives.”
